Self-Aligning Ball Bearing
The self-aligning ball bearing is a bearing with two rows of ball between the inner ring and the outer ring.
Self-aligning ball bearing has 2 types: with cylindrical bore, or with conical bore. The material of the cage is provided with a steel plate , or synthetic resin. Its characteristic is that the outer ring’s raceway is spherical and has slef-centering property, which can compensate for the error caused by non-concentricity and axial deflection, but the relative inclination between the inner ring and outer ring should not exceed 3 degrees.
A proper amount of grease has been filled in when assembling the self-aligning ball bearing with dust proof cover and sealing ring. It should not be heated or cleaned before installation, and no lubrication is needed in the process of working, which is suitable for operation temperature from -30 ℃ to 120 ℃. Self-aligning ball bearings are mainly used in precision instruments, low noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles and general machinery. They are the most widely used bearings in machinery industries.
