The installation method of an angular contact ball bearing is back-to-back installation. 1、 Advantage of back to back use of angular contact ball bearings
1. From the installation method diagram of angular contact ball bearing, it can be seen that the load line of the back-to-back pair bearing is separated from the bearing shaft, and the load center is outside the bearing centerline during back-to-back installation. When the shaft is heated and extended, the bearing clearance will increase and the bearing will not be stuck and damaged.
2. Back-to-back bearings provide a relatively rigid bearing configuration and can withstand overturning moments. It can bear the axial load acting in two directions, but the load in each direction can only be borne by one bearing.
3. For back-to-back installation, the component force of the right bearing is the upper right, and the component force of the left bearing is the upper left. In this way, the two bearings can be decomposed to resist the axial force in two directions without moving.
4. The back-to-back installation can bear twice the radial component force, the intersection point of the two components is relatively close, the requirement for the shaft disturbance is relatively low, and the shaft is not easy to be stressed and deformed.
2、 Back to back installation method of angular contact ball bearing
1. Cleaning before installation
Before installation, the bearing should be cleaned with gasoline or kerosene, and used after drying, and good lubrication should be ensured. Generally, grease lubrication or oil lubrication can be used for bearing. When using grease lubrication, the grease with no impurity, anti-oxidation, anti-rust, and extreme pressure should be selected. The filling amount of grease should be 30% ~ 60% of the volume of the bearing and bearing box, which should not be too much. The bearing with sealing structure and pump shaft bearing has been filled with grease, which can be directly used by users and can not be cleaned again.
2. Press in during installation
Equal pressure must be exerted on the circumference of the end face of the ring to press the ring in. It is not allowed to directly knock the end face of the ball bearing with a hammer to avoid damaging the bearing.
① The interference is small
In the case of small interference, the end face of the bearing ring can be pressed with a sleeve at normal temperature, and the sleeve can be knocked with a hammer, and the ring can be pressed evenly through the sleeve. In the case of mass installation, a hydraulic press can be used. When pressing in, ensure that the outer ring end face and the shell shoulder end face, the inner ring end face and the shaft shoulder end face are pressed tightly, and there is no gap.
② The interference is large
When the interference is large, oil bath heating or inductor heating angular contact ball bearing can be used to install. The heating temperature range is 80 ℃ - 100 ℃, and can not exceed 120 ℃. At the same time, nuts or other appropriate methods should be used to fasten the bearing, so as to prevent the gap between the ring and the shoulder due to the contraction in the width direction after the bearing is cooled.
3. Clearance adjustment
The clearance of angular contact ball bearing should be adjusted after installation, and the clearance value should be determined according to different working conditions and the size of the interference fit. If necessary, it should be determined by test.
