Installation precautions and related inspection points of cylindrical roller bearing

The installation of cylindrical roller bearing mainly includes the hot installation method and cold installation method. If the bearing sleeve and the device are interference fit, then the cold installation method is adopted; if the bearing inner sleeve and the shaft are interference fit, then the hot installation method is adopted. Precautions on the installation of cylindrical roller bearing:

1. Before installation

① Cylindrical roller bearings must be installed in a dry and clean environment. Before installation, the machining quality of each part of the cylindrical roller bearing should be carefully checked. All mating surfaces must be carefully cleaned and deburred, and molding sand must be removed from the machined surface of castings.

② Before installation, it should be cleaned with gasoline or kerosene, and used after drying, and the cylindrical roller bearing should be well lubricated. Bearings are usually lubricated with grease or oil.

2. During installation

① The cylindrical roller bearing must exert equal pressure on the circumference of the end face of the ring to press the ring in. It is not allowed to directly knock with tools to avoid damaging the cylindrical roller bearing.

② In the case of small interference, the end face of the cylindrical roller bearing ring can be pressed with a sleeve at normal temperature, and the sleeve can be knocked with a hammer, and the ring can be pressed evenly through the sleeve. If a large number of cylindrical roller bearings are installed, a hydraulic press can be used. When pressing in, ensure that the outer ring end face and the shell shoulder end face, the inner ring end face and the shaft shoulder end face are pressed tightly, and there is no gap.

③ When the interference is large, oil bath heating or inductor heating method can be used to install the cylindrical roller bearing. The heating temperature range is 80 ℃ - 100 ℃, and can not exceed 120 ℃. At the same time, nuts or other appropriate methods should be used to tighten the bearing to prevent the cylindrical roller bearing from shrinking in the width direction after cooling, resulting in the gap between the ring and the shaft shoulder.

3. After installation

After installation, the rotation test should be carried out. First, it is used for the rotating shaft or bearing box. If there is no abnormality, the power is used to run at no-load and low-speed. Then, according to the operation situation, the rotation speed and load are gradually increased, and the noise, vibration and temperature rise are detected. In case of any abnormality, the operation shall be stopped and checked. It can be put into use after a normal operation test.


Inspection points for installation of cylindrical roller bearing

1. Check whether the matching requirements of cylindrical roller bearing are the same as those of load and speed.

2. Measure whether the fit of the cylindrical roller bearing exceeds the standard.

3. The heating mode is determined according to the measurement and calculation. Ensure the oil clearance of cylindrical roller bearing. The temperature should not exceed 300-400 degrees. Pay attention to the windbreak. Do not use an open fire for heating.

4. Adjust the axial clearance of cylindrical roller bearing and add a gasket to the outer ring.

5. The oil clearance of cylindrical roller bearing is measured with a feeler gauge. When adjusting the oil clearance of extra-large cylindrical roller bearing under actual load (partial load), the influence of field temperature on cylindrical roller bearing should be considered.

6. Check whether the rotating part and the fixed part of the cylindrical roller bearing interfere.
